Character

I have realized that by taking time to post pictures on here, it takes time away from my baby girl. The people that Riley care about already see her often and know whats going on with her. Therefore, no more updates. I will make new memories with my daughter instead of sitting on a computer in an effort to brag about meaningless things.

"Character is that which reveals moral purpose, exposing the CLASS of things a man chooses or avoids."

All Rolled Into One...

I cannot seem to remember to post things on here consistently.. so here is everything that has happened the past few months. Enjoy!

(Pay no attention to her outfit!) haha
She loves to ride her Papa's horse Gray.
She is actually yelling "yee haw" while shooting her gun in the air. :)

Ry and her cousins Bailey & Jocee carved Pumpkins with Jake while I was in class.  They did a great job!

Fall Carnival at Church.  Ry was a princess, I was a crayon and Tuff dressed as a Rodeo Clown.  We had a inflatable bouncer, popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, snow cones and a cookout.  The kiddos had a blast.

I sort of went hunting with Jake one evening..
we tried to fit in one tree stand.. didn't work so well..I only lasted like ten minutes. :)

Ry and Papa going hiking at Robbers Cave.  We stayed the weekend for the Fall Festival.

He seriously had to hold on to her belt loop to keep her from running up the rocks.

Love these jammies!

Snow cones at the carnival.  :)

Ry & Tuff making sugar cookies for Church.

First dental appointment.. she did great.

Boo, Jake, Uncle Danny, Papa and I went to OKC for the National Finals Team Roping in October.

Jake and Uncle Danny in Awe of their hero. :)

All that Ropin' made her tired.  :)

She made me take this pic of her and her baby last week.  :)

On Our way to Branson for a Christmas Vacation.
Loves the motel.  (Mostly swimming but I didn't get any pics!)

Watching at the Dixie Stampede.

This picture captures "Riley Jett." Enough said.

Sadly, this is the only pic I have of us together where we are "almost" both looking. :)

Eating her taffy from the candy store @ Silver Dollar City.

This is her daddy's favorite pic!

We ended our trip with a visit to Santa Claus.  He ended up giving her eleven candy canes!

Bonfire 2011

Last Friday Night we had our annual Bonfire at Riley's Granny & PaPa's house.  We decorated everything with spider webs and had spooky music playing in the jukebox.  The kids had hot dogs, chocolate covered pretzels, carmel apples, popcorn and chex mix.  They went on a hay ride and played in the playhouse for hours.  We all had fun.  Can't wait until next year!

State Fair

We took Roo to the Tulsa State Fair yesterday. She rode the sky ride and loved it. She said "I'm not scared of heights mama!" We ate corn dogs, ice cream and a carmel apple. She played a midway game and won a live goldfish! Who gives away live animals to small children?? HaHa We had a a super fun time.

Corn Maze 2011

As soon as Sunday School was over this morning, Boo and I went with all of her church buddies on a road trip.  Russell & Kathy, David & Donna (Ry's Sunday School and Children's Church teachers) took all of the kids to the Corn Maze near Grove.  It was too cool.  There were slides, a corn maze, hay ride, tire swings, petting zoo, hay bouncer, pony rides, and even a cave.  The kids had an absolute blast.  We are already excited to go again next year.

Labor Day 2011

We decided to take Boo to the Labor Day Parade and Carnival in Henryetta this year.  We met Uncle
Charles & Angel, Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle Tommy & Jennifer and all the kiddos.
First, the marching bands came by.  She danced and twirled in front of everyone.

She, Baylor and Tommy watched until the floats would come.  As soon as they would throw candy, all three of them would jump up and run to get it.

One of the churches that had a float gave all of the kids a little American Flag.

She loves to hug! She get's that from her mama :)

All in all it was an awesome day.  After the parade, we went with Tommy to the carnival. They rode the big slide and the Dizzy Dragon.  They were both crying when it was time to go... which was also right around nap time.  :)

Riley's Tea Party

Riley and I attended a "Princess Tea Party" at Mrs. Hearon's house this weekend.  Mrs. Hearon and her family go to our church.  They are the best!  They bought all the girls a glitter princess headband, a new book and a collection of inspirational cards written for each girl from members of the church.

Mrs. Hearon's daughter, JeanAnne, made the cutest jewelry with the girls.  They made rock candy bracelets, jelly bean earrings and rings and a licorice necklace.
They were adorable! Ry had as much fun eating them as making them.

After the jewelry we had our tea party.  She had her own place setting marked "Princess Riley." We all had tea, cupcakes and other snacks.  It was an absolute blast!

We are so lucky to have our CHURCH family in our lives.
